First Things First
What Should I Bring?
- A drum (if you have one) or something to make some noise with such as:
- shakers
- rattles
- cabasas
- tambourines
- maracas
- chimes
- bells
- gongs
- castanets
- claves
- wooden frogs
- guiros
- FIREWOOD! Yes, please - a few pieces of dry firewood would be great, if possible: (DO NOT bring wood such as coated, painted, pressure-treated, or similar wood! ✦ Read & learn more ✦
- A headlamp or flashlight
- A blanket, warm clothes & shoes (especially if it is cold)
- A chair, cushion, yoga mat (or something similar to sit on)
- A flat piece of wood (as a support platform to avoid having your drum ‘sinking’ into the sand)
- A raincoat or an emergency poncho (to protect yourself and your precious instruments in case of an unexpected showers or rain)
- Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks (and hot drinks if it is cold)
